150 g butter
300 g cooking chocolate
2 tsp vanilla essence
1 Tbsp water
180g sugar
3 eggs, lightly beaten
60g all-purpose flour
100g chopped walnuts
Method:
- Preheat oven to 140° C.
- Melt butter, chocolate, vanilla essence & water over low heat. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat & add sugar, stirring until dissolved.
- Add eggs, then fold in flour.
- Add walnuts.
- Line 7"x7" baking pan with baking paper & pour in mixture.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Allow to cool for 6 hours (or overnight) before removing brownies from baking tray.
