Crispy Tumeric Chicken Wings

Ingredients:
10 whole chicken wings 
2 Tbsp light soya sauce 
1 tsp sesame oil 
4 Tbsp shaoxing wine 
1 Tbsp white pepper 
1 ¼ Tbsp turmeric powder 
3 Tbsp potato starch 
2 Tbsp cornstarch 
1 Tbsp water optional 
Cooking Oil for deep frying

Method:
  1. Mix all ingredients (except oil) & marinate in fridge for about 2 hours.
  2. Heat oil & test with a little batter. If the batter floats, the oil is hot enough.
  3. Deep fry the wings whilst turning over to ensure even cooking.
  4. Fry any remaining batter as crunchy bits.
  5. Before serving, do a quick refry to ensure it's crispy.
