Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
500g ground chicken
1 small onion, diced
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, chopped
1 Tbsp fresh garlic, minced
2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
4 Tbsp hoisin sauce
soya sauce, to taste
1 Tbsp, sriracha sauce
salt & pepper, to taste
2 Tbsp oil
1 8oz can of water chestnuts, diced
fresh green onion
1 head butter lettuce

Method
  1. Brown minced chicken in oil on medium heat (3-5 mins) & drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in onion, sesame oil, fresh ginger, garlic, rice wine vinegar, hoisin sauce & soya sauce until onions are translucent.
  3. Add sriracha sauce (or gochujang) to taste & cook until sauce thickens.
  4. Turn off heat & add water chestnuts & fresh green onion & stir in.
  5. Serve with butter lettuce.
