Red Velvet cupcakes





Red Velvet

Ingredients:
Cake:
2¼ cups AP flour, sifted
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
2 oz red food colouring/juice from 15oz can of beets
1 stick unsalted butter
1½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp white vinegar

Frosting:
1 stick unsalted butter
16 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar
